The article recounts the exile and oppression experienced by Bushra Alzoubi and how she returned to Syria to visit her sister, from whom she had lost contact. For the On International Women’s Day, I left a few words in an envelope at a photo exhibition dedicated to the artist Marilyn Monroe at the Saint Cyprien collections. Each participant was invited to compose few verses for this very important day; here are the few lines I wrote :
