Women’s Rights and Artists International Day 2026

Céline Valette writing a text, thanks to the museum for the photo.

For the On International Women’s Day, I left a few words in an envelope at a photo exhibition dedicated to the artist Marilyn Monroe at the Saint Cyprien collections. Here’s what I wrote:

For everyone, my body, my choice is one of the battles you fought so hard for. For all the victories and obstacles encountered, I encourage you in all your progress.

Photos depicting Marilyn Monroe alone and at a meeting with her business partners, as she also held shares in companies related to the film industry. She was an actress who wrote scripts and planned for her financial future.
